Program Notes: Wind Whispers is about the loneliness and emptiness of the summer of 2020. During this time, I often found myself seeking refuge in going outside into nature and simply letting myself be. The sound of the wind rustling through the trees became a sound of comfort and stability amidst a time where everything was constantly changing.
